lucky duck

Guess who's going to China in May?

...who has always wanted to go...
...and gets to go for 3 weeks...
...and is flying for free...
...and is going with one of his mission buddies who also speaks Chinese...
...and is so excited he can't even speak?

J.

I'm so excited for him. And I'm already planning all of the places I can go to pass the time.

LUCKY HIM!! One of my dreams in life is to walk on the Great Wall. My brother and sister-in-law went to China about a year ago and had such a fabulous time. I was seething with jealous then ... and now I'm feeling it all over again. I hope you come up with lots of fabulous things to do in the mean time. Maybe you could come over for lunch? It's only a 62 hour round-trip drive! :)

China is amazing. He is going to love it! If you can find a way to sneak into his suitcase, you should. China is definitely one of the most remarkable places I've ever been.

Wow, that's great. I didn't realize he spoke Chinese? Matt (my husband) served in New Zealand, Mandarin speaking and always wanted to go to China. We ended up living there for one summer and had lots of fun times there, but kissed American soil when we got back. So happy for J.
