my parents finished their mission today. i'm sure it was an incredibly bittersweet moment for them. they've been busy for the last two years serving the people in five African nations.
they are taking a week to relax a bit before they head home. they'll arrive next tuesday to a house full of excited livingstones.
we are so proud of them, and so happy we could share them for the last two years.
as always, you can read more about their adventures on congochatter.blogspot.com. stories of these young missionaries will melt your heart.

Melt your heart or make you teary eyed. I love their blog. Your parents don't know me from Adam, so I never commented on their blog, but I loved it and read every entry.
I wouldn't mind if they kept on blogging even if it only is a retrospective.
I'm going to miss the stories of Africa...
cant wait to see the reunion pics!
Welcome home. How exciting. What an exciting adventure!
I can't believe that it's already been two years! I'm going to miss Congo Chatter! Hopefully we'll get to hear some stories from the mission still. I love their blog!
Yay!!! That is so awesome they had such a great time, and they got to have that opportunity together.
PS - i need an update on Mae's potty training!
Wow, what great examples they are. What a support you have been for them.
Oh my GOSH! That is is awesome? Do you need help with the house? Call me if you do. I have time. Love you. Have fun!
Sorry "that is is awesome?" was supposed to be "that is so awesome!"
I'm an excellent typist.
Hooray for D&M!! Give Amy a hug for me, will you?
I can't believe how quickly the last two years have gone by. So exciting to have them home, so sad for them to go!
