coming out

i was planning on waiting to tell, but since jayson told everyone today over the pulpit...

i'm pregnant!

i'm nine weeks along. this pregnancy has been quite different--with mae i felt a little queasy sometimes, and really tired most of the time. when i miscarried, i felt nothing. this time, i feel really queasy and exhausted all the time. i've been blessed with a stomach of steal so i don't throw up, although i wish i would (i think i'd feel better).

but all in all, i figure queasy/exhausted=lots of hormones=less chance of miscarraige. maybe that rumor is a falacy, but i'm hoping its true. and, i'm pretty sure it's only temporary (three to five more weeks).

mae and dad are stoked. mae tells me she has a baby in her tummy too. it's coming out on saturday, or thursday depending on when you ask.

this picture has been on my desktop for a couple weeks. mae loves to see pictures of herself as a baby and i love looking at pictures of her when she was a baby. raising her has been a blast, and i'm sure the second will be equally amazing.

and, just for good measure, i'm putting this picture on here too. just because it's one of my favorite pictures of our first day together.

babies=awesomeness. we're due october 18th.

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you guys!!! I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling a bit naucsious- I know totally slaughtered that spelling- but it is true about what you said about feeling sick; my doctors always said it's a good sign that everythings going well with development of the baby. Sucks to be sick but it's such a nice reassurance knowing that baby's doing fine. We're looking forward to seeing what this next baby of yours will be!

YAY we are excited for you! I always get super sick but I was a LOT sicker with Lukas then I was with Blair. Maybe your having a boy? Either way you are great parents and this baby is lucky to be coming to your family.

Congratulations!!! Hang in there with the barfy feeling - this too shall pass but as you say, it's comforting to have it feel familiar to how you felt with Mae as compared to how it was the last time. Our prayers are with you!

Congratulations, pretty Mama!! I'm so excited for you, and hope the nausea stage ends quickly! I felt the same way about our pregnancy w/Jackson (glad for some nausea, since the miscarriage didn't have as much) so I can understand some of those feelings.

What a great helper you will have when the baby comes!! Hope you are getting some nice, cozy naps! :)

OH YAY!! I'm so excited for you! I was only sick with Seara for three or four weeks (over Sandra's wedding - cry!), but with my next two I was sick from 6-16 weeks. Ugh. I think it had to do with the fact that I actually had to take care of another baby. Such is life. It is SO worth it! :)

Congrats again -

I love that picture so much. I tried copying it with #3 but it didn't turn out half so well.

I'm so happy for you, girl -

Congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you guys, I know you have been wanting another baby for a while.

I get extremely nauseous with my pregnancies and my doc has always said the same thing; that when you're feeling sick that means that the baby is a sticker. The hormones are nice and strong.
I certainly hope you feel better soon! Pregnancy nausea is the worst!!
